To get at the kernel
Inside a hard shell.
It needs a patient skill
To break it just right.

G, when I read K’s poem, I find it insightful in relation to our daily conversations with our dear ones especially when we come to a state of conflict. There is indeed an art to share the truth without hitting too hard or hitting too timidly. To get it just right, is so delightful! And then to imagine, Each of us, as a walnut! Within the hard exterior of our body is our most sensitive soul, fragile like a baby in the womb of its mother, needing all our attention, nurturing and care!
