Archives for the month of: May, 2013

My mind takes me to strange places
And leaves me marooned
On an island of no return
Then my soul takes over and
Airlifts me out of there

Places of spirit but no spice
Marooned in wordy pools
On islands of madness
A soul adrift amidst floating chairs
I want out of here

Strange love is this way
Do not leave me alone with the peacock
Return and be mine
My heart takes flight at the thought
Of you and me eternally true

I cling by my teeth, to the frayed edges of this present, trying to pin it down, knowing there is no tomorrow, if I should let go.

My teacher is the ink and I, the page upon which writes, the unknowable One. There’s only so much ink. Only so many pages. It’s not enough for everything that He needs to express!

I met a man resplendent as a god.
When immersed in his dance
Words, thoughts, eyes, every muscle
Dance to Lord Hanuman

Not knowing what’s hidden from one’s immediate sight, is a great gift. How could we ever stay present, otherwise?
